I started my undergrad in Music Therapy at ASU, playing the oboe. Switched to engineering, then decided I wanted to understand how we perceive and experience music from an analytical perspective. Started working in neuroscience labs, graduated with a degree in Bioengineering, and did an honors thesis on auditory feedback in birdsong production. And here I am. I don't know if you caould say that I "recently" took the plunge... I've going this direction for a while now. My academic history is seemingly pretty sporadic.
